Elisabeth David Elisabeth graduated from Florida State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Media & Communication Studies. During college is when she found her love for Pilates. Since the age of 3, Elisabeth competitively showed horses. By the time she was 17, she competed in the Grand Prix level, which contributed to immense physical strength and control. While attending college at Florida State University, and in the absence of her horses, Elisabeth needed to find a way to maintain the strength she had worked so hard to develop. This is when she discovered Pilates. After much research, she realized that Pilates was commonly used by equestrians to improve their sport, so Elisabeth jumped right into Pilates. After only a few sessions, she found that it not only kept her strong, but it also gave her the physique she always wanted. Pilates truly is a full mind-body workout, and it quickly became her passion. Elisabeth was excited to join Classical Pilates Education as a Teacher Trainer in 2014. (Pilates of Kansas City)

Years earlier she got tired of just going to the gym and was curious about a new trend she kept hearing all the Hollywood stars were doing…Pilates. Katie actually rediscovered Pilates having been exposed to some of the exercises that made her abs hurt when she took ballet as a child. Katie’s best friend encouraged her to look into teaching Pilates. Working out was always Katie’s favorite part of her day so she wanted to give that gift to other people.
